Toucan was built around a question we couldn’t ignore: why do cocktails lose their integrity the moment they’re packaged? The answer led us to create—and patent—the Two-Can Shaker.
By keeping spirits and mixers separate until the moment you’re ready to shake, we preserve freshness, texture, and balance—while bringing back the ritual that makes cocktails feel special in the first place.
D Magazine and Dallas Innovates recognized this approach with their Innovation in Food & Beverage Award, highlighting Toucan’s role in rethinking how cocktails are made, stored, and experienced. In just our first year, that innovation helped us expand into multiple states and Puerto Rico, commercialize production, and lay the groundwork for what comes next.
